Don and Pat Lomen have been married over half a century, but their journey together has changed direction in the last 10 years as they have lived with P a t ’ s A l z - heimer’s. Don will share some of this journey with us as he talks about the meaning of “Till Death Do Us Part.”  A s a n added bonus, we are going to make this meeting our SENIOR SWEETHEART LUNCHEON. Yes, Carolyn Coe is anxious to prepare that special meal for us that we missed in December! Make your reservations and $6 payment to Gaye by February 18th. The luncheon will begin at noon, followed by devotions and the program. Remember, you are ALL Senior Sweethearts, even if you are single!

ELDERBERRIES

Elderberries is a monthly gathering of seniors age 65+, or however you choose to define yourself!  These meetings are generally held on the 4^th Thursday, beginning at 2:00 in the afternoon, and include devotions, a program, and refreshments.  Zion seniors share in presenting the devotions.  Programs are on a variety of topics.  Some may provide information which is of specific interest or benefit to seniors, while others are inspirational or simply entertaining.  At each meeting we also celebrate with those who are observing a birthday.  We close the year with a special Christmas luncheon and music presented by high school students.  All are welcome to attend these meetings.
